When Lisa told me she would be screenprinting her Wavy Gravy sweatshirts, I jumped at the chance to photograph her at work- she’s a great model and an amazing artist. The workshop in which the screenprinting press sits is large, and I spent an evening snapping shots of Lisa as she set up the ink, readied the equipment, and patiently explained how everything worked together to produce one sweet-looking piece of art on fabric.
